What is the word for "solidarity" in your language?
Oxford has defined it as: "Unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group." In Persian it is "Hambastegi" according to Dehkhoda: [ هََ ب َ ت َ / ت ِ ] (حامص مرکب ) هم بستگی . بستگی . پیوند. اتصال و ارتباط بین دو چیز یا دو تن . which signifies unity between two things, bodies, etc. It doesn't have the emotional connotation of the word solidarity, please correct me if I am wrong.
Tonight I experienced sad moments regarding two of the projects I have been working for the last two years: Moments of Un (dis) solidarity or feeling alone among others.
